Horses breeding

Besides the sport activities Jiří Skřivan is also devoted to horse breeding. After good experience with his horses, which were all bought as foals abroad and brought up here, he decided to follow this idea and complete his stable with his own horses. At home breeded foals are bought from exteriors breeders or are allready bred in his stable.

The foals are stabled in horse-breeding farm Suchá, which is situated 3 kms from Litomyšl and is conducted by his father. In the new reconstructed area with riding hall, pastures on 18 ha and with accommodation has Mr.Skrivan started with building a new covered hall. One of successes in horse breeding at the stud farm in Sucha is the participation of the mare Olza at the world breeding championship in Lanaken in 2001.

For stallion breeding there was established an area 1k kilometr from the stud farm Sucha, which is approved by the Czech Warmblood Breeders Association as a testing rearing place . Rich pastures are situated on the area of 17 ha leading to an open area stables. There is a small covered hall as a component of the place too.
